- Assist in the lifecycle management of RSA keys, ECC keys, and X.509 digital certificates.
- Assist in the administration and lifecycle management of digital certificates (SSL/TLS, client/server, code signing).
- Support PKI infrastructure, including Certificate Authorities (CAs), OCSP, and CRL distribution.
- Work with cryptographic algorithms (RSA, ECC, AES, SHA) to strengthen authentication and encryption.
- Help automate certificate issuance and renewal processes using scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
- Troubleshoot SSL/TLS certificate issues and validate secure configurations.
- Research emerging cryptographic standards and security best practices.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Basic understanding of cryptography, PKI concepts, and security protocols (SSL/TLS).
- Familiarity with RSA/ECC key pairs and hashing algorithms.
- Knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux) and networking fundamentals.
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of HSMs (Hardware Security Modules) or cloud KMS (Key Management Services) like AWS KMS, Azure Key Vault, or Google Cloud KMS.
- Hands-on exposure to certificate management workflows (issuance, revocation, renewal, validation) in enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with certificate formats (PEM, DER, PFX/PKCS#12) and certificate extensions (SAN, Key Usage, Extended Key Usage).
- Exposure to security standards and frameworks such as NIST SP 800-57, RFC 5280, or FIPS 140-2/3.
- Knowledge of automation tools ( Jenkins, Bamboo ) for infrastructure-as-code and certificate lifecycle automation.
- Strong communication skills and ability to document technical processes clearly.
