Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist is needed to support elementary-aged students with mild to moderate disabilities in a pull-out service delivery model. The assignment is a contracted position for the upcoming school year, based in Oakland, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 53 elementary students.
- Support students in both resource and special day class programs, focusing on individualized communication goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with district and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid School Speech-Language Pathologist credential.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly those with mild to moderate disabilities.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team in a school setting.
Location:
- Elementary school sites in Oakland, CA, including one site supporting both a resource program and special day class program and another site supporting a resource program only.
