Roadway Construction Team Leader – On Site Daily
We have an immediate need for a Roadway Construction Team Leader in the Los Angeles area. The ideal professional will provide leadership and guidance for the administration of the project.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for Roadway material submittals to include all materials required for the project
- Review request for information, field notices and change orders
- Coordinator with all inspectors and utilities for material testing and final acceptance of work
- Knowledge of Environmental compliance coordination, SWPPP, Air Quality Notice, Vibration and Track monitoring, Hazardous Waste materials management and Environmental monitoring
- Review monthly environmental compliance coordination
- Experience with closeout, final walk, punch list, warranties, as-builts, and final acceptance
Education and Experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM) preferred
- Progressive Design Build experience preferred
- Responsible for material submittal, concrete mix, designs, sub-base aggregate base…all required material for project
- Responsible for reviewing request for information field notes and change orders
- Coordinate with all inspectors to include Utility and all inspectors required for work and final inspection
- Knowledge of Environmental compliance coordination, SWPP, Air Quality Noise, Vibration and Crack monitoring in addition to Hazardous Waste material management and Environmental monitoring
- Qualifications and experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Construction
- 10 years or more experience in various aspects of construction planning and management
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Procore, Prolog, Primavera, and Bluebeam
(Roadway Construction, Professional Engineer, Certified Construction Manager, SWPP, Hazardous Waste, Construction)
