Korotkin Associates, an established award winning landscape contractor, seeks a gardener who is reliable and dedicated to work with a small crew of 1-3 persons creating and maintaining beautiful landscapes. Position for lead gardener is also available.
All equipment and materials are provided.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of professional landscape experience in the field
- Ability to work with a small team
- Proficient with power tools
- Ability to work independently
- Good driving record

We have a comprehensive written Health and Safety Plan, including COVID19 safety protocols.
Duties:
- Perform various gardening and landscaping tasks, including planting, pruning, fertilization and water management.
- Maintain lawns by mowing, edging, and applying fertilizers.
- Water management with irrigation systems and controller programming.
- Operate power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, hedgers and leaf blowers to maintain the grounds.
- Use hand tools like shovels, rakes, and pruners for manual labor tasks.
- Assist with landscape maintenance projects such as planting, mulching.
- Ensure that all garden areas are clean, organized, and free of debris.
- Monitor plant health and identify any signs of disease or pest infestation.
- Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment when working with chemicals or operating machinery.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in gardening
- Knowledge of different plants, flowers, and trees commonly found in the area.
- Familiarity with power tools used for lawn care and maintenance.
- Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good communication skills
- A valid driver's license is required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Start: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
