Job Details
We are seeking a Front Office Receptionist for a 12-week temporary assignment. This role combines in-office and virtual front desk responsibilities to ensure smooth patient flow and accurate administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage patient check-ins (virtual and in-office) and verify demographics/insurance
- Answer and route phone calls professionally; handle messages and urgent requests
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate calendars
- Process medical records requests and ensure compliance with privacy regulations
- Prepare specialty letters (referrals, authorizations, provider correspondence)
- Scan and index documents into EMR systems accurately
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical front office or similar administrative role
- Familiarity with EMR systems and document scanning workflows
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and maintain confidentiality in a fast-paced environment
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and multi-line phone systems
