Position Summary
Performs short-cycle assembly of electromechanical products and subassemblies of moderate complexity, under the direction of the Assembly Lead.
Essential Functions
-
Assemble and rework electronic and electromechanical precision assemblies and subassemblies, including switches, synchros, potentiometer gearboxes, and circuit boxes.

Utilize hand tools and light power tools such as drill presses, hand grinders, and sanders.

Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

Perform soldering and wiring as required for product completion.

Immediately notify the Assembly Lead of shortages or defective parts.

Produce quality work, subject to inspection by the Assembly Lead or Quality Control.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, following safety and housekeeping standards.

Become familiar with Adams Rite Aerospace designs, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
Role Qualifications – Skills, Abilities, and Other Requirements

Education & Experience:

Knowledge of electronic theory.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams, and follow both written and verbal instructions.

Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a mechanical assembler.
