Job Description

Position Summary
Performs short-cycle assembly of electromechanical products and subassemblies of moderate complexity, under the direction of the Assembly Lead.

Essential Functions

  • Assemble and rework electronic and electromechanical precision assemblies and subassemblies, including switches, synchros, potentiometer gearboxes, and circuit boxes.

  • Utilize hand tools and light power tools such as drill presses, hand grinders, and sanders.

  • Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

  • Perform soldering and wiring as required for product completion.

  • Immediately notify the Assembly Lead of shortages or defective parts.

  • Produce quality work, subject to inspection by the Assembly Lead or Quality Control.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, following safety and housekeeping standards.

  • Become familiar with Adams Rite Aerospace designs, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Role Qualifications – Skills, Abilities, and Other Requirements

  • Education & Experience:

    • Knowledge of electronic theory.

    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams, and follow both written and verbal instructions.

    • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a mechanical assembler.
