- Medication Administration:Administer complex medications, titrate vasoactive drips, and follow strict protocols for safe delivery.
- Emergency Response:Rapidly respond to medical emergencies, perform CPR, and initiate ACLS protocols.
- Care Planning:Develop, implement, and revise individualized patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other disciplines.
- Documentation:Maintain accurate, clear, and concise patient records and reports.
- Patient & Family Support:Provide education, emotional support, and communication between the patient, family, and care team.
- Patient Assessment:Conduct comprehensive head-to-toe assessments, monitor vital signs, interpret lab results, and identify subtle changes in patient status.
- Equipment Management:Set up, operate, and monitor advanced life support equipment, including ventilators, cardiac monitors, and invasive lines.
Meets all required licensure and/or certifications necessary for Registered Nurses
Two years acute care nursing experience
BLS/ACLS certification required on file in Department of Education
NIHSS certification, as required for acute care facilities
*Must have 1 year min Travel Experience. *Must be willing to Float to PCU as needed.
