The Vice President of Human Resources will develop and execute human resource strategies in alignment with the overall business strategy, ensuring that our workforce is motivated, engaged, and aligned with our mission. This leadership position is crucial in creating a culture of high performance and continuous improvement while fostering an inclusive workplace environment.

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to establish HR strategies that support the business objectives of the Spa/Outdoor and Corporate organization and drive sustainable growth.
  • Lead and manage all facets of human resources functions, including; organizational development, employee engagement, performance management, compensation and compliance.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition team to implement effective talent management strategies to attract and retain top talent while promoting diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Drive organizational change and development, leveraging analytics and metrics to inform decision-making and improve HR processes.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to senior leaders on HR-related issues, including employee relations, conflict resolution, and organizational design.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of workforce training and development programs.
  • Serve as a key spokesperson for the company’s workforce culture and employee relations practices.
  • Stay informed on existing and proposed federal and state laws/regulations affecting HR. Identify trends that could have impact to organizational objectives and/or operational resources. Interpret appropriate laws and policies and advise management and employees accordingly.
  • Prepares reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to senior leadership.
  • Willing to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Compensation is based on experience, $180,000+

Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or Master’s in Human Resources preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and compliance.
  • Proven expertise in developing HR strategies that support organizational goals and initiatives.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in HR management systems, analytics, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change management initiatives and influence organizational culture.
  • High level of integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on professionalism and diplomacy.
