Schedule:
- Full-time position Monday - Friday
- 1st shift: 6:00am-3:30pm
- 2nd shift: 3:00 pm-12:30pm
- Pay rate: $16.50 - 17.50/hr.
JOB SUMMARY
Assists and supports coworkers and performs repetitive Bonding operations to mass-produce commercial aircraft interior components such as galleys and closets. for commercial transport aircraft. Must be able to work within the time constraints of the master production schedule and meet requirements dictated by the customer.

- Promotes cooperation and communication with co-workers
- Places panels and parts in specified relationship to each other
- Follows installation procedures per engineering drawings and requirements
- Understands the concept of utilizing work orders
- Validates panel dimensions and insert locations by dry fitting before installing blocks, angles, doublers, and fittings
- Prepares and organizes tools and parts for use in the manufacturing area
- Maintain safe and effective use of all machine and hand tools as well as a safe work environment
- Mixes and applies adhesives as required, using manufacturers specifications as well as ECI requirements
- Pre-bonds doublers and cut/fold panels using shop aids per approved engineering drawings
- Dry fits and bond’s structure using tooling and shop aids to control the critical surfaces and interface points
- Report any defects to quality assurance and manufacturing engineers
- Must be able to self-inspect personal work and correct discrepancies in a timely manner
- Works at different workstations as production needs require
- Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment as required
- Tasks could vary slightly from the various customer galleys & closets
- Performs other duties as assigned by production supervisor
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS – Education, Knowledge, and Experience
Education:
- A High School diploma is preferred
Experience:
- Position may be filled with both entry level and experienced candidates
