Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in San Francisco, CA is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services under a contract for the current school year (CSY). This role is ideal for an experienced professional holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology and appropriate school-based licensure.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- School-based SLP certification or licensure
- Experience working with the K-12 student population
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions to students with speech and language disorders
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, families, and other professionals
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and compliance with school policies and state regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and parent conferences
