The Role We are seeking an Experienced Industrial Sewing Machine Operator for a full-time, in-person position. The primary focus of this role is the specialized construction of baseball caps. This requires proficiency on multiple machine types and an understanding of non-flat sewing techniques. This is a crucial role for a skilled operator looking for a stable position.
Key Responsibilities

Operate various industrial sewing machines, including Single Needle, Double Needle, Cylinder Arm, and Bar Tack machines, with high accuracy and efficiency.

Perform all aspects of cap construction, ensuring precise alignment and stitching standards are met.

Execute specialized finishing techniques, including Steam Blocking.

Handle materials with care to minimize waste and ensure quality control.

Collaborate with the production team to meet daily and weekly output goals.

Maintain a clean and safe workspace and ensure all equipment is in excellent working order.
Qualifications

Experience Required:

Minimum of 2 years of proven experience operating industrial sewing machines in a commercial setting.

Previous experience sewing hats or specialized headwear is highly preferred (as opposed to flat-goods sewing).

Proficiency in operating Single Needle, Double Needle, and Bar Tack machines.

Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards.

Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a significant plus.

Must be able to reliably commute to the job location in Santee, CA.

Ability to work a full-time (40 hours/week) schedule.
