Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Radiologic Technologist skilled in comprehensive imaging modalities to support a small rural healthcare setting. This role involves performing a broad range of diagnostic imaging examinations including radiology and CT, contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions per physician orders. The position requires adherence to all applicable federal and state regulations and a commitment to quality patient care.
Responsibilities include: Conducting imaging procedures with proficiency in multiple modalities Positioning patients accurately to achieve optimal imaging results Maintaining and organizing equipment and supplies efficiently Ensuring strict patient confidentiality and compliance with health regulations Responding promptly and effectively in emergency and equipment failure situations Assisting with administrative tasks such as patient scheduling and phone inquiries Participating in continuous quality improvement activities Remaining flexible with staffing needs including weekends, holidays, and call duties
Preferred Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Radiology program with an Associate of Science degree Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) licensure American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification preferred Two years experience in an acute care environment preferred, with at least two imaging modalities expertise BLS certification is required Experience in a freestanding diagnostic imaging facility may substitute acute care experience
