We are currently seeking a Superintendent III to join our team. This role is ideal for a seasoned leader with deep expertise in construction project supervision, high-level coordination of field activities, and a commitment to delivering projects with excellence.


What You’ll Do:


Project Leadership & Field Supervision:

  • Oversee all field activities for large-scale construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with project plans.
  • Lead and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to meet project milestones on time and within budget.
  • Foster strong, positive relationships with ownership, consultants, and project stakeholders.

Field Operations & Coordination:

  • Direct project mobilization, setup of temporary facilities, and ongoing site logistics.
  • Schedule and lead subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel in the daily sequencing of installations across multi-phase projects.
  • Produce and manage detailed look-ahead schedules and monitor progress against milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies and lead regular safety meetings.
  • Coordinate inspections, manage RFIs, and oversee final walkthroughs.

Documentation & Communication:

  • Generate daily reports detailing site conditions, subcontractor activities, weather, and project status.
  • Report delays and performance issues to the Project Manager and collaborate on resolutions.
  • Attend all project OAC meetings, providing updates on schedule, safety, and critical site issues.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation in PM software, including daily logs and site photographs.

Quality Assurance & Safety:

  • Lead the project team in Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) for all installations.
  • Schedule and conduct inspections with building departments, consultants, and jurisdictional agencies.
  • Oversee project commissioning, training, and close-out processes.
  • Promote adherence to safety policies and site safety measures, conducting regular safety audits.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Minimum 10 years of construction superintendent experience in multi-family construction.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; OSHA 30-hour and CPR/First-Aid certifications required.
  • Valid CA Driver’s License.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and construction project management software (e.g., PM Web).
  • Deep understanding of construction drawings, industry terminology, and quality control standards.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills with a proven ability to motivate and manage teams.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a focus on problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Capacity to thrive under pressure, adapt to changing conditions, and maintain safety and quality standards.
