The IS Technician team provides technical support and assistance to end users in the Company. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues, as well as providing guidance and instructions to users. This involves fielding and resolving support requests, documenting requests, and escalating complex problems when necessary. You will also work closely with the IS team to ensure the smooth operation of the company's IS infrastructure, contributing to the overall success of CrossCheck.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to end users to support and improve their productivity.
- Escalate complex issues ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with users.
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights, ensuring data security and compliance.
- Build/setup and maintain user hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Perform routine operations tasks to maintain secure and reliable performance of the environment.
- Assist in asset management and procurement activities.
- Document procedures, configurations, and diagnostics for knowledge sharing and reference.
- Identify and recommend innovations to improve operations and user productivity.
- Perform other similar or associated duties as assigned or needed to accomplish job objectives
- On-call rotation required
Education & Experience
- Associates degree in IT or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1+ years of experience in IT, supporting end-users.

- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Proven success organizing and prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in dynamic environments
- Demonstrated experience working with confidential and regulated information
- Proven experience supporting a Microsoft networked environment and technology stack
- iSeries experience desired
- Broad knowledge of hardware, operating systems, applications, and networks.
- Solid understanding of modern diagnostic tools and methodologies
- Demonstrated experience learning and applying new technologies
- Proven success building and maintaining positive, professional relationships.
- History of meeting company attendance and administrative requirements
