Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide occupational therapy services to a diverse K-12 student population across multiple school sites in Murrieta, CA. This short-term contract position, approximately 8 weeks in duration, supports students through individualized interventions aligned with their IEP goals. The role requires onsite presence and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to enhance student participation, functional skills, and overall access to the educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and treatments tailored to TK12 students.
- Develop and implement intervention plans based on students' IEP goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development.
- Monitor and document student progress in compliance with school policies.
- Adapt therapy strategies to meet the diverse needs of the student population.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license with experience in school-based settings preferred.
- Strong understanding of K-12 educational environments and student developmental needs.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple school sites with flexibility.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to support collaborative interventions.
