We’re hiring a skilled Kitchen Fire Suppression Technician with both Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance (ITM) and Installation experience.
You’ll service commercial kitchen fire suppression systems for restaurants, schools, hospitals, and facilities across Southern California.
Experience with ANSUL, PyroChem, Amerex, Range Guard, Badger/Kidde, or similar systems required.
Having a CAL Fire (Fire Extinguisher license)/card is a major plus.
What You’ll Do
Perform inspection, testing, and maintenance (ITM) per NFPA 10, NFPA 17A, NFPA 96, and local AHJ codes.
Install and retrofit pre-engineered kitchen systems (pull stations, nozzles, agent tanks, detection lines, etc.).
Diagnose and repair system issues.
Complete service documentation using company software (photos, notes, signatures).
Coordinate with customers to minimize downtime during service or installations.
Fire extinguisher service when needed if licensed.
Minimum Requirements
2+ year’s experience servicing commercial kitchen fire suppression systems.
Hands-on with ANSUL, PyroChem, Amerex, Range Guard, and Badger/Kidde systems.
Valid California driver’s license with clean record.
Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in kitchen environments.
Professional appearance and customer service focus.
Preferred Qualifications
Current Cal Fire Certificate of Registration license/card.
Experience with fuel/gas/electric shut-off and fire alarm tie in.
Experience with chain restaurants, hospitals, and school districts.
