Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the current school year on a contract basis in Sunnyvale, CA. This role supports K-12 students by providing comprehensive speech and language evaluations, individualized therapy plans, and ongoing progress monitoring in accordance with district and state guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments for students.
- Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to individual student needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech-language impairments.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to support student success.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress reports.
- Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities as required.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working in a K-12 school environment.
- Strong understanding of speech and language disorders and intervention strategies.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Current state licensure or eligibility to practice as an SLP.
