This opportunity is for a Physical Therapist to provide specialized support within a K-12 educational setting in the San Juan Capistrano area of California. The position involves working with students from preschool through high school, supporting a current caseload of approximately 35 students. This role is a maternity leave coverage through the end of the school year, with a flexible schedule accommodating part-time hours around 20 per week or up to full-time at 30 hours or more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services tailored to student needs across preschool to high school age groups.
- Manage and maintain a caseload with an emphasis on meeting therapeutic goals and student progress.
- Collaborate with educational and clinical staff to support student development and integration.
- Document therapeutic interventions and outcomes according to school and regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Physical Therapy.
- Active California Physical Therapy license.
- Experience working in a school environment preferred.
- Ability to handle a flexible schedule and caseload fluctuations.
