Laboratory Technician - Simply Biotech

- 1-2 years of laboratory experience
- Molecular biology and immunochemistry expertise
- Bachelor's degree in molecular biology or similar

FULL DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a highly motivated laboratory technician to rapidly integrate with our team to assist with day to day experiments related to nanobody discovery. Experience with molecular biology and immunoassays is essential.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Prepare stocks and reagents
- Perform ELISAs
- Perform panning on phage display and yeast display nanobody libraries
- Perform a variety of other molecular biology tasks including cloning and minipreps
- Contribute to the organization and cleanliness of the laboratory
- Plot and analyze data
- Present results at internal scientific meetings
The selected candidate will also possess:
- B.S. with several years of hands-on laboratory experience
- Experience in a wet lab environment and working knowledge of a range of protein, molecular biology, and cloning techniques
- Experience with antibody, nanobody, and/or protein techniques such as ELISAs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is innovative, team-oriented, organized, and highly motivated
Salary Range: $24-26/hour
