Looking for a dedicated individual to work in a law office that handles personal injury cases. Will be contacting clients and gathering information to respond to discovery requests. Good writing, computer, and people skills are required.
Responsibilities:
- assisting attorneys in all areas of discovery and litigation
- attending depositions/cross examinations of doctors/clients and taking notes/writing summaries
- answering phone calls and corresponding with clients
- legal research
- other assigned or guided tasks as may be needed to support Attorneys and legal staff
- maintain up-to-date case files and documentation
- electronic and physical filing
- scanning and responding to correspondence/emails
The applicant must be a team player with great communication skills. The applicant must also possess basic legal proficiencies, common sense, and acumen. The ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a high level of professionalism is essential. Opportunity for advancement.
