Job Title: Gear Machinist
Location: Garden Grove, CA
Hourly Rate: $35 - $40
We are a leader in the Manufacturing industry and have been providing our customers with innovative, high-quality products for over 100 years. We are seeking an experienced gear machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone who has experience with gear shaping, cutting, hobbing, & grinding to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for the operation of the following CNC gear machining equipment and part inspection:
- Mitsubishi SE25A gear shaper
- Drake CNC hobber
- Reishauer gear grinder
- Other similar types of equipment
Skills Required:
- 5+ years of experience in CNC gear cutting.
- Experience with using gear shaping, hobbing, and grinding external and internal gears to drawing requirements.
- Experience with using manual and CMM inspection equipment to verify external and internal gears to drawing requirements.
- Strong knowledge of set-up, fixturing, gear cutting and grinding tools, feeds, and speeds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
