Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Adhere to all company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Notify leadership of issues, malfunctions, or defective parts.
- Maintain quality standards.
- Perform repetitive tasks and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
- Practice 6S at all times.
- Keep records of production quantities and time.
- Assemble basic assemblies while meeting cycle time requirements.
- Inventory parts and tools used in the assembly process.
- Assess the quality of parts and materials used in production.
- Test finished products for defects and pack finished products for shipment.
- Perform part marking as required.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
- Follow quality standards and established safety procedures in all work performed.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent (preferred)
- No prior experience required
- Capable of operating/running a single process or machine with minimum assistance
- Basic understanding of safety and quality best practices of machinery and equipment
- Familiarity with hand tools and materials such as metals, plastics, or purchased items
- Basic knowledge of inspection processes or instruments for tasks being performed
- Proficient in basic math and following verbal/written instructions
- Basic computer skills
- Flexibility to commit to variable schedules and prompt arrival for shifts
- Ability to be cross-trained in other departments to address high-demand periods
- Willingness to work in other areas as needed
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
