Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Litigation Defense Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for representing clients in civil litigation cases, focusing on personal injury defense and construction defect claims. The attorney will work to protect the interests of clients while providing strategic legal advice and advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in civil litigation cases, including personal injury defense and construction defect claims.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery.
- Develop and implement effective legal strategies for case management and trial preparation.
- Negotiate settlements and engage in alternative dispute resolution when appropriate.
- Advise clients on legal rights and obligations, and provide guidance throughout the litigation process.
- Maintain accurate case files and documentation, ensuring compliance with legal standards and procedures.
Qualifications
- Barred in CA
- 3+ years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on personal injury defense.
- Strong understanding of civil procedure and litigation processes.
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Proven negotiation skills and ability to advocate effectively for clients.
