A well-established and respected litigation firm based in Downtown Los Angeles is seeking a full-time Employment Attorney with at least 3 years of experience to join their dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment law, particularly in handling wage & hour claims, class actions, and complex employment litigation.
This is a hands-on role for a driven attorney who is confident managing cases from intake through settlement and thrives in a collaborative, high-performance legal environment.

Core Responsibilities
-
Manage employment litigation cases from pre-litigation through resolution
-
Draft complaints, motions, arbitration demands, pleadings, and supporting briefs
-
Propound and respond to discovery in a timely and strategic manner
-
Take and defend depositions, including those of parties, witnesses, and experts
-
Analyze and summarize medical records and employment documents relevant to the case
-
Argue motions and oppositions in court or arbitration settings
-
Work closely with clients, co-counsel, and firm partners to advance litigation strategy
-
Ensure that all procedural deadlines are met and cases move forward effectively
Qualifications

3+ years of employment litigation experience

Strong knowledge of California employment law and procedural rules
-
Experience in wage & hour, class actions, PAGA, and discrimination matters
-
Excellent legal research and writing skills
-
Proven ability to manage discovery, draft pleadings, and argue motions
-
Confident in deposition and courtroom settings

Familiarity with complex, high-stakes litigation a plus
