National High‑End Trial Firm Seeks Litigation Associate
About Firm & Position:
A nationally recognized trial firm with a multi‑office footprint is hiring a Litigation Associate to handle complex injury and toxic tort matters, as well as commercial disputes. The associate will join a close‑knit team of courtroom‑focused trial lawyers known for high‑stakes verdicts and a track record in catastrophic injury, products liability, and toxic tort cases. The culture emphasizes collaboration, trial readiness, and end‑to‑end ownership of cases.
Litigation Associate Responsibilities:
- Manage 5–20 cases from A–Z in state and federal court, including pleadings, written discovery (with in‑house discovery support), depositions, pre‑trial preparation, and trial.
- Draft complaints, discovery requests/responses, deposition outlines, pre‑trial filings, and trial materials; coordinate experts and fact witnesses.
- Take and defend depositions; prepare clients and witnesses for testimony.
- Collaborate with in‑house law & motion and discovery teams (role does not require heavy motion practice).
- Appear in court for case management, evidentiary hearings, and pre‑trial conferences; support trial teams during trial.
- Maintain organized case workflows, deadlines, and strategic plans in alignment with supervising partners.

Salary: $160,000 - $225,000 (DOE)
Discretionary year‑end bonus based on firm performance and individual contribution.
