Job Title: Torts Litigation Attorney
Location: San Diego, CA (On-site/Hybrid)
Hours: Full-time
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Base Salary Range: $130,000 - $175,000
One of San Diego's oldest and most prestigious downtown law firms has an opening for a Business Litigation Attorney with experience in commercial and contract litigation, securities and other corporate matters, and all aspects of intellectual property.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft pleadings and discovery for all aspects of a case, including law and motion, discovery motions, propounding discovery, depositions, mediations, and trial
- Research and articulate findings based upon research into complex areas of the law to support case strategy and theories to be raised in the litigation. Be able to raise new theories for consideration in cases.
Qualifications:
- Must be admitted to and in good standing with the California bar
- 3+ years of civil litigation experience with preference for torts, commercial litigation, products liability and/or general liability experience
- Law and motion, discovery motions, propounding discovery, depositions, mediations, and trial experience
