Transactional Paralegal
Compensation: $41.25/hour
Location: Pasadena, CA - Hybrid Work Schedule
LHH is seeking a detail-driven paralegal for a long term (6 months +) contract opportunity. In this role you will support a sophisticated legal team engaged in complex transactional and investment-related matters. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in legal operations and a keen eye for regulatory and corporate compliance.
Core Responsibilities

Reviewing and analyzing documents related to the purchase and sale of improved real estate.

Handling tax-related documentation, including returns and exemption forms.

Preparing country registrations and powers of attorney for custodian and sub-custodian accounts.

Drafting and filing incorporation documents and maintaining entity compliance across U.S. jurisdictions.

Creating and maintaining corporate minutes, consents, resolutions, and minute books.

Reviewing private placement memoranda, partnership agreements, subscription documents, investor questionnaires, and KYC/AML forms.

Preparing and reviewing invoices for legal services.

Conducting legal research using WESTLAW, LEXIS, and other online tools.
Technical Proficiency

Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint).

Experienced with Adobe Acrobat for PDF formatting and editing.

Familiar with matter management software and its implementation.
Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of legal issues related to investment and transactional matters.

Excellent command of written and spoken English, including grammar and legal terminology.

Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to maintain logs and spreadsheets.

Ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively across teams.

Capable of working independently and leading initiatives with minimal supervision.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Completion of a paralegal training program approved by the ABA or accredited by the California Department of Education (or equivalent from another state), plus four years of experience in a legal office performing paralegal or similar duties.
OR -
Graduation from an accredited law school with at least one year of relevant legal office experience.
