Job DescriptionEmployment Attorney
We are a lifestyle firm that highly values a strong work life balance, and currently we are seeking an experienced litigation associate for our Labor and Employment practice group to join either our Los Angeles/San Diego/San Francisco office.
What you need:
- At least 3 years of experience in employment litigation, particularly in defending wage and hour and PAGA (plus but not required)
- Experience handling lawsuits throughout the life of the case with oversight and mentoring from partners (as needed).
- Internal investigations, legal research, preparing discovery and taking/defending depositions, drafting motions and pleadings, and representing clients at court conferences, hearings, and trial.
- Must also have excellent writing and oral advocacy skills and significant experience in discovery and law and motion practice.
- Self-starter who possesses strong organizational skills, is able to work with multiple clients and attorneys, and is ready to hit the ground running.
- must be able to bill 1850 billable hours.
- must live within the vicinity of the office for a Hybrid work schedule.
