Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our team in San Rafael, California. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in plaintiff-side personal injury cases, managing them from initial intake through settlement. This role requires a strong understanding of California personal injury law, insurance negotiations, and pre-litigation processes.
Responsibilities:
• Handle plaintiff-side personal injury cases, overseeing the process from intake to settlement.
• Prepare detailed demand packages and coordinate the retrieval and review of medical records.
• Negotiate with insurance companies to achieve favorable resolutions for clients.
• Resolve liens and ensure compliance with California-specific personal injury procedures.
• Maintain organized case files using case management software.
• Conduct discovery tasks and assist with trial preparation as needed.
• Collaborate with attorneys and other team members to ensure seamless case progression.
• Provide regular updates to clients regarding case status and developments.• Proven experience managing personal injury cases from intake to settlement.
• In-depth knowledge of California personal injury law and pre-litigation procedures.
• Strong skills in preparing demand packages and reviewing medical records.
• Familiarity with insurance negotiation processes and lien resolution.
• Proficiency in case management software and related tools.
• Experience with civil litigation, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site in San Rafael, California.
