Our Wine Data Specialists drive accuracy in our product databases. You will need to know what a varietal is, what an appellation is, and be meticulous with SKU management.

Day to Day:

  • Upload and maintain detailed records of every product; specifics include packaging, vintage, varietal, appellation, and more.
  • Scour third party sites to collect reviews, press releases, and wine scores and organize and update SKU data accordingly.
  • Create and manage SKUs down to the smallest details; ensure consistency and accuracy across all systems and platforms.
  • Compile and maintain even more detailed records including residual sugar, agricultural methods of production, alcohol content, pH levels, etc.
  • Write, update and maintain SOP’s consistently; we have a culture of continuous improvement. Identify and enhance processes to improve consistency and efficiency in the database.
  • Audit your work; ensure our data is maintained, check for errors and incomplete entries, and work to hold the highest regard for the integrity of every SKU.
  • Work with sales, customer service, and the business development teams to verify and share critical information.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in data management, preferably in the wine industry.
  • Global wine knowledge is preferred; WSET, CMS certifications a plus
  • Must thrive in a team oriented, fast paced environment. We are a collaborative group in a fast-growing company. Last minute changes happen daily.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including Excel. Experience with Google Sheets data manipulation, reporting and validation is key.
  • Strong attention to detail is required. Accuracy and consistency are imperative.
  • Experience with and/or working knowledge of the following platforms: NetSuite and/or Shopify; Linnworks a plus.
