Job DescriptionAttorney - Elder Abuse, Nursing Home Abuse
Growing Premier Plaintiff Firm Seeking Elder Abuse Attorney in Los Angeles (Fully Remote)
A growing plaintiff litigation firm based in Los Angeles is seeking Attorney with elder abuse / nursing home abuse experience to join its expanding team. They may come from either plaintiff or defense backgrounds as long as they are committed to plaintiff side work. Trial experience is not required. Experience in medical malpractice is a plus. This fully remote position is open to California licensed Attorneys with the exception of required in person court appearances and trials.
Offer:
Salary range: $115,000-$250,000 depending on experience
Full health, dental, and vision coverage fully paid by the firm (Blue Shield)
401k with 4 percent employer match
$100 monthly remote work stipend
$75 monthly cell phone stipend
12 PTO days, 6 sick days, and 2 community service days annually
Qualifications:
Experience in elder abuse, neglect, or medical malpractice
Commitment to plaintiff side elder abuse advocacy (defense experience is also considered)
Strong writing, motion practice, and discovery skills
Trial experience preferred but not required
Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
Strong client communication and case management abilities
Active California Bar membership in good standing
Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of elder abuse and neglect matters from intake through resolution
Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal research
Conduct and defend depositions and support trial preparation
Appear in person for hearings, conferences, and trials as needed
Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals across multiple states
Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the litigation process
