American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN House Supervisor for a skilled nursing facility, requiring an active CA RN license and long-term care leadership experience.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Position is for House Supervisor in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
- Involves supervisory responsibilities over SNF nursing staff
- Alternating weekend shifts are required
- Acts as a liaison between the Director of Nursing (DON) and SNF nursing personnel
- Assists in supervision of nursing activities and ensures quality patient care
- Responsible for staffing schedules, payroll, overtime authorization, and personnel management actions
- Assists in performance evaluations, recruitment, and helps develop policies and procedures
- Supports accreditation and licensing compliance documentation
- Involved in SNF nursing budget management and staff orientation
- Promotes effective working relationships with medical staff, administration, and other departments
- Dependability, organization, reliability, and good attendance are essential

- Active California RN license required
- Current CPR certification required
- Three to five years of progressive nursing leadership experience in long-term care required
- Direct personnel management experience highly preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
