Responsibilities:

<li>Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.</li>
<li>Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components.</li>

<li>Read job order, observe and listen to vehicle in operation to determine malfunction and plan work procedures.</li>
<li>Examine protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks, and make adjustments as needed.</li>
<li>Lubricate moving parts and drive repaired vehicle to verify conformance to specifications.</li>
<li>Tag all warranty parts and returns to warranty clerk.</li>
<li>Attend training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase overall customer satisfaction.</li>

Basic Qualifications:

<li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED)</li>
<li>5 years’ experience as a Class 7 &amp; 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility</li>
<li>Valid driver license (CDL a plus!)</li>

SUMMARY

This employee will maintain and repair fixed plant assets, to include, but not limited to CNC machinery, manual equipment, fixed assets within the manufacturing facility. This employee will coordinate with other employees to ensure that maintenance work is completed satisfactorily.

<li>Troubleshoots electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems on CNC and manual machinery</li>
<li>Maintains and uses all controlled documents within the department</li>
<li>Assists in the maintenance and repair of all machinery and hand tools with minimal supervision</li>

Responsibilities
A Diesel Service Technician is responsible for providing service to our customers while maintaining exceptional customer service. This can include: cleaning, maintenance, visual inspection, and removal of parts and attachments. Installation with the help of proper manuals, report writing, disassembly, assembly, parts reuse evaluation, and reconditioning.

Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.</li>
<li>Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components.</li>
<li>Overhaul gas or diesel engines.</li>
<li>Read job order, observe and listen to vehicle in operation to determine malfunction and plan work procedures.</li>
<li>Examine protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks, and make adjustments as needed.</li>
<li>Tag all warranty parts and returns to warranty clerk.</li>
<li>Attend training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase overall customer satisfaction.</li>

Basic Qualifications:

What You'll Do:
As an automotive technician at Stress-Free Auto Care, you will:
<ul>
<li>Diagnose and repair various systems, including heating/cooling, electrical, brakes, steering, suspension, and more.</li>
<li>Work with a team to troubleshoot complex issues and ensure high-quality repairs that meet manufacturer standards.</li>
<li>Complete thorough digital inspections and maintenance reports.</li>
<li>Stay engaged with customers and the service department, keeping them informed on the repair progress.</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, and help with routine shop upkeep.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and legal regulations.</li>
</ul>
What We're Looking For:
<ul>
<li>5+ years of hands-on experience as an automotive technician (we love seasoned pros!).</li>
<li>Expertise in general maintenance, diagnostics, and repair.</li>
<li>Proficient in using hand tools and shop equipment (having your own tools is a plus).</li>
<li>ASE certifications are great, but not required—if you don't have them, we'll help you get them!</li>
<li>A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.</li>
<li>A positive, solutions-oriented attitude and the ability to thrive in a busy, team-oriented setting.</li>
