Wrap around me provides Independent Living Services (ILS), Supportive Living Services (SLS) and Parenting Services. All services provide individualized goals and support plans which are tailored to meet individual needs. They provide direct support in the home setting, assistance with acquisition of community-based services, work opportunities, educational opportunities and with housing options.
About the Position
Independent Living Instructors provide necessary instruction to consumers so as to assist them with maintaining their independence and safety in the community. The ILS/SLS/Parent Trainer must be knowledgeable in the care of individuals with developmental disabilities, able to demonstrate mature judgment and the ability to respond adequately in crisis situations. The ILS/SLS/Parent Trainer must have the capability to communicate effectively with persons who have communication deficits and have an interest in helping with daily living challenges.
Responsibilities
May include but are not limited to:

<li>Provide consumers with training, instruction and support according to ILS/SLS and Parenting curricula guidelines.</li>
<li>Routine visitations and maintenance of assigned caseload.</li>

<li>Complete all agency documents within the required time period (Case notes, Field notes and Learning Evaluation)</li>
<li>Maintain consumer and case confidentiality per licensing and Agency standards.</li>
<li>Abide by the Agency’s Professional Code of Ethics.</li>
<li>Demonstrate sensitivity and responsiveness to cultural differences.</li>
<li>Responsible for implementing leisure activities for consumers to participate in as requested.</li>
