This opportunity is perfect for a physician seeking to practice in a multi-disciplinary, holistic model of care. The schedule will be clinic-based, seeing patients and performing procedures. Procedural training (as permitted by the specialty Board) can occur on site.
Job Duties:
<ul>
<li>Instructs and counsels patients regarding procedures performed; always promotes wellness and health maintenance.</li>
<li>Provides relief from acute or chronic pain through medications, provides nerve blocks, electrical stimulation, or other advanced interventional techniques.</li>
<li>Supervises up to four nurse practitioners and physician assistants, ensuring that the team is identifying candidates for interventional procedures.</li>
<li>Cares for a medically complex and emotionally challenging patient population that requires empathy and the ability to de-escalate.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned, consistent with the above responsibilities.</li>
<li>Willing to practice at other Lifekind Health locations if and as requested.</li>
</ul>
Required Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine</li>
<li>Graduate of an accredited Pain Medicine fellowship program</li>
<li>Valid board certification as a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine</li>
<li>Valid medical license in California.</li>
<li>Ability to work both independently and in a team environment</li>
<li>Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment (30+ patients per clinic day and 25+ procedures per procedure day)</li>
<li>Excellent medical and procedural skills</li>
