Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Oversee and coordinate a high-volume General Liability docket for a Senior Managing Partner.</li>
<li>Serve as primary liaison between attorneys, legal administrative assistants, and other paralegals to ensure efficient case management.</li>
<li>Manage multiple complex litigation matters simultaneously.</li>
<li>Monitor case filings and provide detailed assessments to attorneys.</li>
<li>Draft and prepare initial drafts of various pre-trial motions, dispositive motions, and other pleadings.</li>
<li>Review and evaluate discovery documents including medical records, sales documents, employment records, and other case materials.</li>
<li>Compose case assessments and evaluations for review by associates and partners.</li>
<li>Record and submit contemporaneous billable time in accordance with firm policies.</li>
<li>Perform intensive administrative work and procedural tasks related to case management.</li>
</ul>
 
Candidate Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Minimum of 5+ years of General Liability Defense litigation experience.</li>
<li>Bachelor’s Degree required.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel), Westlaw, PACER, and File &amp; Serve Xpress.</li>
<li>Experience handling California litigation is strongly preferred.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to manage a large caseload with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.</li>
<li>Attendance &amp; Punctuality: Consistently arrive at work and meetings on time; ensure responsibilities are covered when absent.</li>
<li>Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with attorneys, other paralegals, and legal administrative assistants.</li>
<li>Organization: Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.</li>
<li>Customer service: Respond promptly to attorney and client requests for service and assistance; meet commitments.</li>
<li>Dependability: Follow instructions, complete tasks on time, work independently, and commit to the hours necessary to meet deadlines.</li>
<li>Teamwork: Contribute to building a positive team spirit and support the success of colleagues.</li>
</ul>
