POSITION SUMMARY The Buck Institute is seeking a skilled and motivated Clinical Research Nurse to support human subject research studies conducted onsite. This role is responsible for executing study visits in accordance with research protocols while ensuring the safety, health, and welfare of research participants. The Clinical Research Nurse performs hands-on clinical procedures (including IV cannulation and blood draws), supports data collection, and supervises Research Associates. The role works closely with the Principal Investigator and research team to ensure studies are conducted in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, IRB approvals, and Buck policies. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

<li>Conduct and document study visits in accordance with approved protocols</li>
<li>Screen and interview potential participants; document medical history and eligibility</li>
<li>Obtain and maintain informed consent throughout study participation</li>
<li>Provide medical oversight during protocol-driven test visits</li>
<li>Perform clinical procedures including vital sign monitoring, IV cannulation (advanced competency required), blood sample collection, and oral glucose tolerance tests</li>
<li>Independently and efficiently perform IV insertions, including in challenging cases</li>
<li>Collaborate with Clinical Research Associates on physical and cognitive testing</li>
<li>Answer participant questions and provide study-related information during visits</li>
<li>Communicate study-related issues to the Principal Investigator</li>
<li>Support data collection in collaboration with researchers, statisticians, and lab staff</li>
<li>Maintain strict confidentiality of all participant records and communications</li>
