Hiring Criteria

Senior Litigation Associate

 Client: Well-Known Law Firm Role: Paralegal/Legal Assistant Salary: $75,000 - $95,000/annually + Benefits Location: Los Angeles, California - Santa Monica Area/West L.A. - (*5 days a week onsite*) Job Description: -Collaborate with attorneys to prepare for trials, hearings, and meetings -Utilizes existing files and a variety of other research resources to develop information for pending cases -Drafts discovery demands and responses, including, but not limited to, Requests for Production, Interrogatories, Notices for Discovery and Inspection and Requests for Admissions -Processes deposition transcripts -Prepares trial and arbitration hearing binders -Assists with drafting documents such as: Motion to Strike, Motion for Continuances, Proposed Orders, Requests for Judicial Notice, Evidentiary Objections, etc -Assists with e-filing in State, Federal and Appellate Courts and checks the Court's local rules -Prepares timelines and demonstrative exhibits -Drafts routine legal correspondence -Prepares first set of exhibits for motions, discovery responses, etc -Reviews outgoing document production, including redacting and Bates stamping -Creates Preservation of Evidence Letter and Document Request Letters -Performs legal research through WestLaw -Assisting with office administration tasks -Reviews, summarize and analyze medical records to assist with defense of action -Other duties, as needed, to support the firm and office operations.

Position: Plaintiff Employment Paralegal

Candidates must be based in California.
 
Key Responsibilities:
