This position requires strong knowledge and understanding of business law, employment law, litigation defense, lawsuit processing, and case load management. <li>Maintain a thorough knowledge of employment related laws, policies, and procedures.</li>
<li>Research and draft legal documents as needed.</li>
<li>Prepare and file applications and documents with the appropriate government agencies.</li>
<li>Negotiate and settle disputes.</li>
<li>Represent clients in court hearings and other legal proceedings.</li>
<li>Manage case loads and respond to client inquiries in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Provide resume writing, cover letter writing, reference obtaining, and writing sample collection services.</li>

<li>Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.</li>
<li>Barred in CA</li>
<li>7+ years of employment defense litigation experience.</li>

<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills.</li>
